The DECD Office of the Permit Ombudsman was created to expedite the state permit application process for projects requiring permitting through the Connecticut Departments' of Environmental Protection, Public Health and Transportation. Applicants must meet the Qualifying Projects criteria which is determined bythe number of jobs created, project location and other responsible growth criteria.
