Requirements
Prerequisites: Sixty semester hours approved postsecondary education; approved acupuncture program; all portions of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine written examination; Clean Needle Technique Course of the CCAOM
Required Documentation: Individual review of credentials by agency staff to determine if statutory requirements have been met

Agency Notes: Renewal - online renewal is mandatory. 

All licensees can expect to receive renewal notification approximately 60 days prior to expiration and if not renewed, a final notice 30 days following expiration, at the licensee's address of record on file

Renewal fee is waived if individual is in the military on active duty with the Armed Forces of the US and CT resident
